Dutch is beautiful. I can read it without knowing any.

Unintentionally hilarious headline: Marokkanen gooien homo in het water (Moroccans throw gay in the water).

I'm currently watching Fitna, and yes, it's most definitely for work.

I can't make head or tail of it at all. Wish I could, since some of my ancestors would have spoken it.

Yes: with a small knowledge of German and native speaking of English, anyone can read Dutch spookily well. It's bizarre.

Example: bloke talking about football - I can at least verify that the subtitles are saying the same thing as he is.
